Here are some updated photos of Flopp, with a more beaten-up model, and a dirty texture, though texturing is subject to change once I get a better handle on hand drawing them. I'm Currently working on texturing and rigging on all models, with rigging done already on the Desktop.

ReplyDeleteI think the model of your hard drive is looking pretty nice! The dragon-style is super cool. Also, the floppy disc is definitely better than the last time I saw it.

I think your modeling is looking great so far, I don't remember what you said about the blue color and if it's only temp but I do think it's kind of distracting and should be subdued. Looking forward to seeing how the hard-drive moves.
ReplyDeleteI like the dragon- hard drive, I'm just wondering if its design seems too far out for a world that is made up of realistic objects with realistic shapes? it's a cool idea, but maybe it starts out looking more like a normal hard drive in the beginning- to make it easier for the audience to grasp what it is- and then the spikes and dragon head sort of appear when it attacks the computer? I don't know how hard or necessary that would be to do, just a thought.
